This article describes the partner roles available in the eTools Partnership Management Module.
Authorized Officer: This role is automatically assigned by UNICEF to Authorized Officers in a civil society organization. These are the individual(s) identified in the signed agreements with UNICEF and are normally senior staff members within the partner organization. The Authorized Officer role can:
- Sign Programme Cooperation Agreements and Programme Documents (PDs) & Special Programme Documents (SPDs) – Humanitarian and Contingency.
NB: The partner must formally notify UNICEF of any changes to the Authorized Officer(s).
IP Administrator: This role is normally assigned to staff who serve as key focal points managing programme partnerships with UNICEF. The IP Administrator role can:
- Assign and edit user roles on PRP.
IP Editor: This role is normally assigned to staff responsible for entering data in ePD. The IP Editor role can:
- Draft and edit all Programme Documents (PDs) and Special Programme Documents (SPDs).
- Submit PDs and SPDs to UNICEF through ePD.
IP Viewer: This role is normally assigned to staff who will not be entering data in ePD and can only view information in eTools.
