Overview of Feature Enhancements and Bug Fixes in the eTools Release (July 31, 2025)
gPD
Enhancements & Fixes
- Assign the same person as Focal Point and Budget Owner (Demo only): Demo environments are used for training and testing. Restrictions in assigning the same user for multiple roles caused delays during demos. Faster configuration in demo/testing without affecting production logic.
- Fund Reservation field moved from Metadata to Implementation Status tab: Users reported that the Fund Reservation field was hard to find in Metadata. Field is now logically placed where financial status updates occur, improving usability.
- Removed all PSEA references from Metadata and Progress Report menu: PSEA integration is deprecated; fields caused confusion as they were no longer functional. Cleaner interface and reduced clutter in forms.
- Final updates for pilot testing deployed to Demo: Preparing Demo environments for upcoming CO pilot tests. Ensures readiness for testing new workflows.

Changed “Finalize” to “Save” in data collection: “Finalize” implied the process was complete, causing user confusion. Terminology now reflects the correct workflow stage.
Default navigation moves to Summary tab after data collection: Users often skipped summary stage, leading to incomplete submissions. Reduces errors and ensures data completeness.
Removed unused Analysis page and sidebar link: Page is obsolete and caused UI clutter. Cleaner navigation experience.
