Overview
This release includes bug fixes, platform upgrades, and usability improvements across multiple eTools modules.
The updates focus on administrative tooling improvements in RSS Admin, PMP/ePD validation and data-entry fixes, Financial Assurance workflow and reporting accuracy, Field Monitoring usability and data quality improvements, PRP stability and reporting corrections, integration reliability, and access management fixes.
Partnership Management Portal (PMP / ePD)
Validation to prevent duplicate roles
Reinstated validation to prevent the same user being selected as both Focal Point and Budget Owner in ePD, improving data integrity and separation of duties.
Mandatory fields during PD creation
The Selection Modality and UNPP Reference Number fields are now mandatory during PD creation to improve data completeness and consistency.
Agreement save warning
Added a warning when saving a Memorandum of Understanding agreement to clarify that it will move to “Signed” status when the start date is reached (if all required fields are complete).
Indicator target/baseline validation
Added numeric validation to prevent Target values from being less than Baseline values for ePD indicators, reducing data-entry errors and improving results logic consistency.
PD creation location selection fix
Fixed an issue where selecting a second township in “Locations of Implementation” removed the first selection.
Indicators export restored
Restored indicators export functionality in PMP to ensure indicator exports can be generated successfully.
Report submission fix for indicator disaggregation
Fixed an issue preventing partners from submitting reports due to an indicator disaggregation bug.
Cross-module PD reporting corrections
Fixed an issue where PD reports were missing indicators and indicator counts/values from previous reports were incorrect in PMP/ePD and PRP.
CP cycle sync
Fixed an issue where new Country Programme cycles were not syncing from VISION to eTools, ensuring new cycles are available across impacted modules.
Financial Assurance Module (FAM)
Micro Assessment finalization validation
Added validation to prevent finalization of Micro Assessments when risk ratings differ between the Questionnaire and Report tabs, improving data accuracy and reducing downstream reporting issues.
Audit completion counting improvements
Updated historic assurance data logic to correctly count completed audits even when they reach key completion states after the year of audit (for applicable audit years), improving annual assurance reporting.
Risk rating consistency improvements
Improved consistency of section risk ratings between Excel questionnaires and the eTools Report tab to ensure accurate scoring and alignment.
Field Monitoring Module (FMM)
Field Monitoring module error fixes
Resolved an error affecting action points and monitoring messages in the Field Monitoring module.
Narrative findings data quality improvements
Introduced new storage for narrative findings text to preserve raw content and provide a cleaned version without formatting tags, improving usability in downstream reporting and datamart outputs.
Status filter behavior fix
Fixed an issue where the Field Monitoring status filter remained applied even after being removed.
Submission warning message corrected
Fixed a misleading warning shown during Field Monitoring visit submission when Action Points already exist and entities are monitored.
Start-visit usability improvement
When starting a new visit, the Activity Details edit panel now opens directly, reducing unnecessary clicks.
Send completed reports by email
Added a “Send by email” function for completed Field Monitoring reports to enable easier sharing and better version control.
Partner Reporting Portal (PRP)
Workspace assignment reliability
Fixed an issue where active eTools users were not automatically assigned/mapped to their PRP workspaces.
Knowledge Base link corrected
Updated the PRP Knowledge Base menu to redirect to the correct Help Centre URL.
Backend stability improvements
Implemented backend fixes to prevent deadlocks during processing and improved logging hygiene to enhance stability and maintainability.
Reporting calculation fixes
Fixed incorrect reporting values, including “Achievement in reporting period” showing incorrect percentages after refresh and incorrect Location Progress/percentage calculations.
Partner Progress Reports data integrity
Fixed missing data issues in Partner Progress Reports and improved consistency with accepted reports so historical data remains visible and accurate.
RSS Admin
App access control
Users without the RSS group permission are redirected to the eTools menu, ensuring only authorized users can access RSS Admin.
App selector icon
Added a dedicated RSS Admin icon in the eTools app selector for users in the RSS group, enabling quick access.
Audit logs improvements
Added audit log support for Field Monitoring, Action Points, and Partners.
Implemented filtering on audit logs endpoints, including free-text search and date range filtering.
eCN
Import error messaging improvement
Improved error handling for eCN imports to avoid generic and misleading error messages, helping users understand and resolve import issues more quickly.
Access Management
Access reliability for PRP workspaces
Improved workspace mapping so that active eTools users are correctly assigned to the appropriate PRP workspaces.
gPD
Work Plan Activities duplication reliability
Improved reliability of duplicating Key Interventions into Work Plan Activities to reduce inconsistencies across outputs.
